Set on a small hill, the Kundrakudi Murugan Temple is dedicated to Lord Murugan, who is worshiped as Lord Shanmuga (a 6-faced god). The idol of the lord is flanked by idols of both his wives, Valli and Deivanai. Apart from the main deity, idols of Shiva, Ganesha, Bhairava, Kulandivappar and the Nav Nakshatras are also present.
At the base of the hill lies a temple dedicated to Lord Ganesha and another one dedicated to Murugan (worshipped as Palani Murugan). There are 3 more smaller shrines on the way up to the main temple.
